We've got a lot of date conflicts. If anyone else is interested in doing a Skyline Drive trip on April 22, please post here.

Yes, that's an option. Personally I can't make that one and will be going, all by myself (and husband) on the 22nd anyway. So if anyone else also can't make it on May 5 - or wants to do two drives ;-) - I'm just opening this thread to see if there's any interest in joining up. If so, fine, we can do a mini-caravan. If not, well, that's ok, and I'll hope to join in a big caravan sometime later.

Is DavidV still around? Looks like he definitely should cancel the April 29 date, as very few people signed up to make it due to the conflicting event in College Park.

If y'all are saying that May 5 would work better for you, then someone should start a thread for that.

Morning I would love to go, however I dont think my car will be done by then....I guess I could take the G35X...We will have to wait and see how things pan out...I do however feel more confortable about the 29th if April is a must..then Id prefer May...Sat or Sunday...

THERE WAS A POST ABOUT PARTYING ON 5/5...Well when we do a Skyline Drive we are normally back by 3-4pm....so its not like the entire day is dedicated to Skyline Drive....just some information for those wanting not to do it on Sat. If you head out of town to party, thats an entirely dif subject...but the total drive time from meeting up to returning back to the meeting area is only about 4-5 hours max...one time we were up and back in 3...but smaller groups go faster through the mountain....lol.

 

MorningGlory...trying to talk the wife into rolling out on the 22nd...we have to run to Richmond to pick up her Gpa's cat (long story)....so Im trying to persuade her to go....so I am still working with you on the 22nd...just trying to see where I can fit in a Richmond trip....maybe Sat afternoon.

MorningG.....SIAMESE and I are thinking of going on the Skyline Drive on Sunday..the 22nd...but making it a hangout session as well....BBQ, S1AMESE's 5 yr old, the hole nine...I guess since you are married and so I and SIAMESE...Im not asking you out on a date...lol.

I am sending an email to our wives and SIAMESE to see if they want to spend the day in the mountains this Sunday, the 22nd...Are you interested in going?
