Front/Rear should be a 70/30 front braking should make up most of your braking power. That's why the front rotors are almost always bigger, and on cars like my Benz the fronts are slotted while the rears are not.
Even with my brembos as with normal brake systems I almost always get 2 to 3 front pad changes before 1 rear.
Maybe it has something to do with the stoptechs but my Z is about halfway though the 2nd set of brake pads on the front and my rears still look like they have a lot of life left.

on side note, if anyone is planning to replace their brakepads on their own in the near future let me know. I am interested in watching and learning. I mean, I could follow the DIY threads, but not the same as actually seeing it done.

If I was you, I'd shoot stoptech an e-mail and ask them if its common to eat rear pads faster then front pads.
I could be wrong but I highly doubt its normal.
Maybe the rears are not fully letting up and are slightly dragging.

well hard braking into a corner causes stress on all the pads and will even out the Brake bias. theres a HUGE article on Brake bias under hard driving no Tirerack.com.
its completly normal for a car driven hard on a daily basis like mine. i live in the country where the roads are as straight as elton john.
