Agreed. I love kills on the street. Driver skill playing such a big big big part. Heat of the moment runs, being in tune with your cars performance outside of a controlled setting(track).

Trust me LS1s are not unbeatable. Go to a good popualr track and you will see them run mid 14s.

Heck i saw this guy in a M6 C5 vette run a 15.5 at the track. he did come back and back it up with a 14.3. After about 8 runs he did get it down to 13.9. Was pretty freaking funny.

It really is all about driver....last time i was at the track i saw no LS1 run slower than 13.6 and I had a quicker ET and faster trap speed than a 03 Cobra that was running.....going to show its all about the driver.

Don't ever underestimate the automatic. The GM tranny is something you never want to mess with. The 4L60E is a great tranny and when it drops down you better have a car to back it up. The LS1 and the 4L60E are a great combo, 90% of them will take you boys on the highway or track.

Good kill I have a 1998 LS1 A4 I have been trying to find 350z's to race from a stop or a roll no luck yet.
