perfect example look at your 60 ft 1.7/1.8....and a trap of only 100???I ran a 12.98@ 108 in my Z and my 60ft was 2.08....My best 60ft was 1.88 but i missed 3rd gear and ran a 13.1 @ 106..
the best mod you have listed is your 4.11 gears..My buddy had a 1994 Z28 that was rated at 14.5 or so stock..He did 4.11 gears and was running consistant 13.3-13.5 on street tires with NOTHING else done...so there is the reason you are so fast..There are no gears available for the Z yet and I doubt they will make them since its geared very high already...

that is never what the car actually weighs like i said weigh it next time you go to english town and i bet you your car is nowhere near 4000#'s

i had a track z at our shop and i believe it weighed around 3300 with me in it,(i was about 170 at the time, now im about 185)
your probably looking at gross vehicle weight, which is the car and 2 people in it and cargo

P.S. I was talking to Andrew who drives the Bluefish Car for Smithstown and they run 13.6 i believe on motor only...And just hit 11.7 this past Wed night(on 300hp of JUICE!!!)...Rember that car is completely gutted out..No seats , airbags, carpets , panels, ect ect...so its probably 400-500lbs lighter and has lightweight wheels with slicks and skinnies...it is strictly a race car and has alot more than some simple bolt ons...I was b/s ing with Andy for 5hours while he worked on the car as i waiting to get my car alligned at their shop...So back to my original opinion a Z can not and will not hit 12's Being N/A with simple bolt on mods..It just wont happen and if you believe it then you probably believe that a K&N air filter and a Flowmaster muffler gives you 50 Horsepower and puts you in the 12's!!! It dont work that way...All the "bolt ons" I put on my Z I noticed NADA!!!NOTHING!!!The only "bolt on that I noticed was the JUICE!!!

again, unless you have a whole bunch of lead sitting in you hatch and a passenger, your car will not way anywhere near 4000 pounds

The GVW sticker on the car is the maximum weight the manufacturer recommends including passengers. It is not the weight of the car by itself.

Judging wether or not the Z will go 12's NA now is a waste of time. Let the aftermarket grow. Lets cams, pistons, rods, Intake manifolds, cyl. heads, computer modification and anything else you could possible change on the Z be developed 1st. Theres an old saying.. 'Don't count your chickens before they've hatched'.. and you guys arn't letting the damn eggs hatch! LoL In afew years we'll be able to look back at this thread and go.. 'How hasty we were..' Then get into our 12 second NA Z's and go for a drive. R and D takes time!

So it took 5 pages to answer this question? 12.8@108-9 is the quickest/fastest SC'd 350Z around right now?

no i think that question was answered long before..the discussion went to whether or not a 350 could go 12's NA

wow, this thread grew...i thought this thread was long gone, i'm glad i stumbled upon it.....i KNOW the Z can break 12's NA w/out too much work....i ran a 14.112 (spinning through most of 1st) a few weeks ago in 80 degree weather on a shitty track (didn't drop tire pressure, no burnout)...and i just learned how to drive stick about 1 1/2 month ago!!!....i seen a kid at e-town runnin consistent mid 13's (13.5, 13.6) in his STOCK Z on a hot/humid day (dropped tire pressure + burnout)....

I did a 13.1@105 with a 2.04 60ft. No burn out, only 5 psi instead of 7psi boost, stock 17 inch crappy all weather tires, sideways in 1st and 2nd, shifting at 4.5 rpm, first night at the track (with this car) in 90 degree weather. This is easily a mid 12 sec car thanks to the ATI kit
