The Dynapack in the article seems to be measuring or calculating horsepower and torque at the flywheel. I'm not sure what's up with that. I don't know much about DynaPack dynos. It would be nice if they tested the engine on a DynoJet so we all could relate.
There really is no secret though. The BC stroker kit is very expensive and its installation is more complicated and expensive that assembling a normal VQ35 engine. I thought about getting one but didn't want sleeves and didn't want to spend the extra money on the stroker kit.
This is the first NA stroker kit anyone has built. There isn't much other information available on that combination. Time will tell...

To the OP - if you're buying a car with a legit 376 whp, and all it has is an intake an exhaust, then you're not buying a Z. If the car has a legit 376 whp, regardless of what is done to it, I'd want to see a dyno sheet proving that it's making the power that is being claimed.

the sad part is it doesn't matter. what could it possiblly be running on before the stroker to make 275 at the wheels? making 100 more hp on a already tuned engine from NA stroker parts?
Pushing that kind of horsepower NA with just a stroker install is extremely difficult if not impossible.
I think the forum already have examples with yours (Z1) included of what the limit looks like with a NA setup.

I read the posts after the original title... If you'd bothered to read the posts in the thread you'd see that people have been talking about the true intent of the article that this thread is about.

Look honda boy, go brag about it on some maxima/ honda forum. Maybe they would actually care. In case you didn't realize, this forum is for Zs and Gs, not FWD maximas. If you want a Z or G so bad, then step up, be a man, and just go buy one and quit being such a wannabe punk. Lol.

BTW, i am on a maxima forum, theres good info there too, just like here. that is why im here. however, my ignore list just grew 1 spot. i dont have room in my day for ignorant people that think they are better cause they drive a z. and why dont i see you on the top 25 list for anything?
