So the NSCRA gave me the confirm. They invited myself and a friend of mine who drives a Japtrix sponsored race prepped Evo X, to do some driving on the road course with a few other cars to get new people into the sport. This is going on while they have their drag racing event next to the road course. Cant beat free track time and exposure.
John, car is coming up Friday for the event for some prep.

I spent tonight ripping out the rear interior to make room for the roll bar...I see this car becoming a full race car very shortly. Going to have to pick up a 240Z to drive on the street lol.

Well, been sleeping on it for days now. She is becoming a full race car, the tear down will begin shortly. I probably wont advertise any interior parts but shoot me a PM if anyone is in the need of any.

Took some stuff apart last night, going to pull an all nighter tonight to finish up most of it. A few friends of mine are heading to the drag strip tomorrow night, so I am trying to make it so I can see what this thing can run, though drag racing isnt my thing at all.
Stay tuned for pics!

296whp, 256tq on a default calibrated mustang dyno. Not trying to play the should be could be game, but that would be somewhere around 320-330whp on a dynojet
Do you have a goal in terms of weight? I would think you should get it down to ~2900-2950 or so (assuming there is no airbags or AC).
MOAR PICS lol

Not sure yet, just going to take out as much as possible and see where we are. Going to try and get some more done on Thursday, im exhausted, its more work than what it looks like lol
Sorry for all the questions, but does your car still have p/s? That thing is going to be a true lightweight from the looks of it.....though obviously the cage will bump it back up. From the looks of you should have me beat by 200 pounds easily with the cage....my car is currently at 3130. Anywho, good luck.
