Hi i'm a newbie from Manila Philippines. I was wondering if anyone could help me with my build. I have a 35th anniv 350z which has the revup motor. The current mods i have are:
Gtm 3 inch maf
Arc intake
Skunk2 plenum lift
Hks dli twin power
Unorthodox racing pulley
Headers
Test pipe
Hks hipower exhaust
3.9 tomei final drive
Quaife helical lsd
Exedy hyper one clutch
Cobb tuner pro
I thinking of changing my cams with the mods i have could i go for the jwt c8r?

way too many variables involved
what headers?
your plenum spacer is useless (unless you've also got the non revup collector with it)
can the Cobb manipulate cam timing on both banks?
C8, S7, are their 2 revup choices
there are loads of other choices too...the right choice depends on your intended rpm range, header selection, desired power range

Thanks you for that information. I didnt know that I need to upgrade my collector to gain hp and tq from the plenum spacer. I do more research and do that modification first. The headers are from tomei. I believe the cobb access tuner race could adjust the camshaft phasing afaik. I already decided on getting jwt for the camshafts just cant decide on the 262 or 272. Thanks again

i advice to take BC cams stage 2
(264)
,,
if you want more power put stage 3 ( 272 )
but you will need to put pistons + rods + valves + retainers
because your engine will not handle

Forget Tomei cams and headers. JWT makes the best grinds available for these cars, and I will continually stand by that statement. The major problems with this build up are going to be the headers and intake manifold.
I hope and believe that is true. I went with Sharif's recommendations when I got the S7 for my stroker. I have MREV2, spacer & Crawford headers with ART pipes going in early next month.

Nice! give me updates on your build.. I'm still weighing my options if I should get tomei or jwt s7. Thanks!
I have the C8Rs in my car and I love the top end. I previously had Megan long tube headers, but have since upgraded to the SGs.
The C8Rs are fine for daily driving, but you really see them shine above 4k. Long stretches of road are much more enjoyable as my car pulls relentlessly to 8k. Keeping the car in high revs, you can get aggressive around turns, etc., if desired.
I am considering taking apart my heads, clearancing them, and putting in the C9Rs, so if you're interested in the C8Rs, I'd sell them to you. Let me know your time frame and manifold/header options and I might have some other parts for you as well.
