What's up all! I just traded my 2000 Lincoln LS in for a '06 350Z yesterday and I'm loving it. This website was recommended to me from another forum so I can learn more about the car. I got the base model "Z" and I have a quick question about it...is it normal for the stereo to cause a little rattle in the driver's side door? This happens without the BASS turned up and with the volume around 11 + on the stereo. Like I said, I just got the car yesterday and I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should have it looked at.

I look forward to get to know all of you! I'm about to start searching through the threads to get some ideas on mods.

I would think it shouldn't, they may have forgot a fastener. Mine doesn't anyways.

 

Congrats! You shouldnt have any rattles. I've had mine turned up way past 11 with the base on, and no rattles. It sounds like something may be loose in your door. Try putting the window up/down and see if it still rattles.

The rattle, well it might rattle a bit over time. I wouldn't worry much about it, unless it bothers you over time.

Had the same rattle in drivers door. The only way I got rid of it was to dynamat the doors. I also changed the speakers at the same time. Congrats on the Z.
