Default Looking to buy my first 350z!

Hey,

I went to a local dealer today and looked at some 350zs. I saw a 2005 with 13,000 on it that i liked. So the dealer came out with the price of 26,000. I was like that seems a little high. He told me it was as Enthusiast trim tho. I didnt see the sticker saying Enthusiast or any buttons on the stearing wheel. So can someone tell me how to tell if this is infact a Enthusiast or just a base and some jerk is trying to screw with me. Thank you

No buttons on the steering wheel means no cruise control: it is a Base.

If there's cruise control features on the steering wheel and HID's it's at least an Enthusiast and not the Base. As for the price...could probably come down 1k, really depends on your local market though.

Sounds like you have a good reason to ask him about it. Wouldn't make a huge scene out of it though...he honestly may not have known. Besides, there should be more than 1 Z in your area.

If it is in fact a Base that price is through the roof though.

That would be the top end price on a Base model for me and I probably wouldn't pay that. Again, that really depends on your market in the New Jersey area.

Agree. There are dealers and salespeople who are not familiar with 350Z models. Buyer beware.

Is this the car for you? Is the Base your first choice? Color? If no then move on and find another.
