Smile hey im new

Hey guys, I just got onto these boards today! I just bought my Z about 3 weeks ago. I traded My srt-4 in. I loved the SRT and it was loads faster than the Z but the sex appeal and the amount of women that the Z attract is unbelievable . Another thing as im getting onlder(im 21) I want something I can grow up with. With the SRT it looked like a high schooler car. When I show up to a business in the Z i get more respect. But aside from that I since installed a NISMO R-Tune CAI. I like it ive been reading that it doesnt get as much gains as the Pop charger but it looks much nicer and is factory warrantied So ow I come to you. I just went to my local 1/8 mile track and was looking to see if this is decent. I ran 9.4XX @ 75 MPH with the intale installed. Is that a average number or not. Also I have 19X10.5 in rear and 19X9 in front. See I dont know what these cars are cpapble of but my I ran a 8.9 in my SRT-4 stock. But I absolutly LOVE the handling and smooth powerband. Thanks and Im so happy to be another in the Z community.

You are getting a 1/8 time slower than the Z because the Z takes skill to master a launch and a 1-2 shift without spinning tires. Anyways, the Z is not a drag car. Its a panty tool. And you at 21 with it, oh my!

BTW, the srt-4 is not faster than the Z in stock form. I have NEVER been pulled by one and my motor is completely stock. I have raced quite a few. The car is turbo, but its not an Evo, you know. Reality check, please! Unless, of course, you're modded.

yea my SRT was loads faster. It was modded with all boltons 20 psi/boost, larger front mount open exhaust. In stock form they are pretty close to equal. Although I ran a 8.9 in stock form with the SRT and its front wheel drive I still love my Z way better. You are right about the panties it does not get any better than this lol(unless its 06 Z06 ) Im not bashing my Z in any way. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will post slips

would of probably run faster with stock wheels. I think the Z stock is faster in the 1/4mile. good trade in. I agree...dodge just seems cheap...easy to make fast but cheap looking.

Here in Vegas, we have a 1/4 mile track. My 1/8 mile time was the same as yours, but mine has an intake, exhaust and plenum. Keep in mind, that's in Vegas with a density altitude of about 5500 feet.
