Default Solar orange, your thoughts?

Saw a solar orange Zed drive past me last night and ohh boy was it sexc. When i was at the dealership there was a solar orange one available but i choose the Diamond Black cos it seemed like a safer option at the time (i was thinking resale value), but damn it would of been nice to drive around in the Solar Orange.... Does anyone own a Solar Orange? And if so pls post some pics......

What are your thoughts on the color, HIT or MISS?

Heres a bunch of pics https://my350z.com/forum/350z-colors/245307-solar-orange.html

I think the color looks nice, but I'm not a fan of flashy colors like orange or yellow.

Thanks for the links, some nice pics there. But dunno the color looks pale in some shots which make it look off. But at night with city lights reflecting off the car it looks amazing.

That color looks 1000% better with a body kit.

Full disclosure: I own a SO.

I love the "throwback" part of it, and I love the way the color "pops" in bright sun.

I am not wild about the way it looks with the red tailights and orange front reflectors. And unfortunately I live in a part of the world where bright sun is absent for much of the year, and under flat light the color resembles that of a slightly old pumpkin. I admit it.

Would I buy it again? Yes. Do I like it the extra $500 worth? Yeah, actually I do. So I'm happy. But I realize that the color is a love-it-or-hate-it thing, and the black is a much "safer" choice. It works for me, but other people are entitled to hate it if they want.

Thanks for your comments mate, i know what you mean by the color "popping" in full sunlight, the day i was at the dealership or stealership as you guys like to call it was a very hot day and it seemed glowing in board daylight, it made the black pale in comparison.

Congrats on a very nice choice in color, shame you dont have more sunny days
