Hey guys, just got my new (to me) 350 last Friday. Im psyched. Only one flaw that i can see. The passenger side window won't go up or down. The switch seems to work cause i hear a click from the door every time i operate any of the two switches in either direction.. Motor? Relay? fuse? help

Congrats on the purchase. You don't mention what year you purchased but the problem you describe is pretty common on '03s. Hope you have warranty left.

 

Is the child safety button off?

 

Nah if its clicking its probably the window motor! Slam the hell out of the door a few times and try rolling it up and down. Works for mine till I have time to drop it off to get a new window motor.

 

ok must be the motor. Its a 2003 i think its an enthusiast but im not sure. It has upgraded pedals, cruise, traction control, stock nissan spoiler and stock 18's. 60K but its like immaculate. It has brand new black leather - the dealer that got it, upgraded it, maybe the stock cloth interior had gottn dirty - i will post pics later today -

sounds like you got a performance if you have VDC and no leather.

yes i did. i didn't catch it at the time. Besides, i'd do it again anyway. The car is flawless otherwise.

Nice Redline!

 

Nice Redline Z I see what you mean that is a boss 350Z. The interior looks really nice it doesn't seems to be the pleated black and red thread factory leather or seats. That seems to be smooth leather and I like it a little better then my factory pleated seats, you barely can see the red unless you are in person. But that is a nice looking 350Z, mines is a 2005 350 Touring Redline.

I like Red and Black which I think is Classic Sports Car colors. Silvers nice also.
I like all the colors on the 350Z except the new orange.

 

Congrats. If you want help replacing the window motor I can help, I have done both of mine and a friend's twice. You can find the motor on ebay for $160 new...I just worked the dealer parts department down to $200 from 300

dkmesa, yeah i meight take u up on that. I recently had a similar issue w/ my z31 turbo, and the problen is you have to remove the window and the regulator to get it out. That is just too much...

 

Gratz, glad to see somebody else is willing to get the tickets to drive a red Z. I chickened out and went black.
