Hey New Questions... Thanks very much!
I know I have asked a similar question… But again I drive an 05 Altima. Fwd of course ha-ha, I want to get a newer Z. I have never driven a Rwd. I am by far an insane driver, I do not mistreat cars. I believe the top speed I have driven on a highway, is 130km not racing, just getting to another city for a trip. Now from an AWD to a RWD will there be a lot of confusion? Also, I know there is an increase of power, but in all, I don’t find that I loose traction AT ALL in the Altima =P. Now with the 350z, should it be similar, if I continue the same driving habits? By similar I mean… Not loosing traction?
Thanks a lot!

Yes, there are differences. Yes, you can make the transition.
Just take your time in learning and practice. Big deal is just to be smooooth in delivery of power to back wheels.
You will be fine

I answered this question before: https://my350z.com/forum/new-owners/330512-not-a-new-owner-yet-but-soon.html.
hey jordankay- i see your in alberta....me too.
i will add if you plan on driving this future 350z in the winter (like i do) you must get good winter tires, currently i am running michelin alpin pilots and they are great when combined with due diligence and common sense.
i learned how to drive rwd on a highly boosted rx7 turbo so i had plenty of experience going into my 350z. but i will honestly say these cars have plenty of power to get out of control on perfect roads- combine this with your lack of experience and alberta's horrible roads and you could get into trouble easlily. the last thing we want to see is another thread of some dude who smashed up his new Z.
when i first got my z it took a couple of weeks before i felt confident ripping it around like i did my rx-7, just know your limits and then learn the cars limits and you'll be fine. And with the influx of US imports up here the price for us is falling (mine is an enthusiast model from the states, saved a ton of cash and Nissan has been great about warranty transfer)
you will love it and become a man for graduating to rwd!!!

I always said I wanted to wait until I was going to buy it, so I would keep my self looking forward to it. I think that day would be much more enjoyable lol. I don’t know! I want to test one, but... I also don’t live in a town with a Nissan Dealership! SUCKS!
