And dont let ILLJIM69 get you down. i promise that not all of us on here are douchebags. and if you see ppl giving life lessons in posts, try not to take it as a put down... its just life lessons passed on. from here on out im sure you'll have a good experience on the forums. and i know that in GA you CANT have a tag on your car when you buy it because you have to have the title signed over into your name and all taxes payed to the dept of revenue before you can get a tag.... and i dont know anyone that pays for a car in full and signs over a title, just to let the car sit at the previous owners/dealers place. a bill of sale is in lieu of a tag. insurance in GA is required but alot of insurance companies will cover your new car for the first couple days after you buy a new car or test drive a car... i know USAA and state farm does this.
