Just got my 05 350z :D
Hey all,
I just got my 05 350z touring with 65k miles not too long ago around December. Plates finally came in.
It's pretty much all stock but I swapped out the Bose head unit for a JVC one, also have a custom box for 2 12" Memphis subs that go behind the seats next to the strut brace (currently trying to sell it so I can get 2 10" subs or just 1 12" sub under the strut brace). Also got ledglow footwell lights which I finished I stalling last night and was able to hide all the wiring so pretty stoked.
That's pretty much it for now but I plan on getting some coils and new rims and then tint my rear window!

I traded in my old car for $5k, and it was $16k but I got it down to $15k, probably paid too much for it but it's my first car I got on my own and I didn't really know how to bargain it down much. it was in really good condition inside and under the hood, no problems at all, just the roof of the car needs some touch up paint and my drivers side view mirror, but I heard it's common for the red Z's and G35's :/ I'm still extremely happy though! It's funny though because it's stock suspension but lower than what I'm used to already so I scraped the front bumper up a bit when it was new looking, not going to stop me from lowering it more though as I'm used to the ride height and size of the car now

Congrats, nice looking Z.
I wouldn't say you paid too much. Heck, I paid 15k for my 04 but it only had 24k miles on it, almost like new. I didn't much care, I wanted it so I bought it. I never even tried getting mine up the driveway until I had a contractor redo the end of the drive to make it more ramp like than just a bump. Lol.
Have fun with it.

It's a great first car to own. Don't let modding take too much money out of your bank it's pretty addictive. My advice is to pay the loan off as soon as you can.

This is great advice. Treat yourself to a shift **** (or similar) when the mod bug bites. Then wait X months, and wehn you get the itch again, get maintenance Items such as diff/trans fluids or the differential bushings. I somewhat regret not paying faster, but 34 months out of 60 months isn't bad....and it's what I love to do.
Good luck!
Good luck!
I at one point had intake, exhaust and some other mods but sold because my wife complained.
One thing you will hate about the 350z is when you need to buy tires. The rears only last about 20,000 miles and are about $250 each. Although I have 19" 370z rays.
You will soon learn how fun it is to drive everyday. You also will get used to 2 seats and a small trunk.

Exactly. Plus don't let the banks make too much off you.

The Z will take care of you if you take care of it!
