Makes Me Smile All the Time
Just a GREAT morning being the owner of a Nismo.
Went to the dealership for the first oil change at 1278 and the Nissan guys loved looking at the car.
Then took for a wash. A guy in his early 60's came up to me to say how great the car looked. He said that he had a 240Z that he bought new. He still misses that car.

Yeah, it is fun going places with the car and getting all the questions. Reminds me of when I first got my Cobalt in late 05 and nobody knew what they were. Mine was also yellow, so it stood out, but I always got asked what it was.
With the Nismo, it's always asking what i've done to it and how fast it is.

Sorry about the pics - seams the my 370z site is easier for me to post pics for some reason. But I'll figure it out.
I bought it in Dec 2009 with 233 miles. Apparently didn't sell at original dealership and either that dealership or Nissan sold it at auction. The dealer that bought it had it for another 8 months and couldn't sell. So I got it for a good price. I think that was because they had it listed on autotrader as a 350 so it came up expensive. If it was listed as a Nismo, it would have been snapped up. So I got a great car and my wife knew that not buying it would be a mistake.

So I hear this guy behind me as we are stuck in traffic. He passes me in a 06-07 Rousch Mustang Stage 3 with side pipes. Sick car! So at the next light I pulled up next to him to compliment him on the car - all he could talk about was that he hadn't seen a Nismo before and how much he loved his 280Z and wished he still had it.
Makes me smile all the time.
