Default Quest for tens

I'm thinking about buying an automatic 04-05 350z to have a car to play with this summer at the drag strip. I was going to see what the stock vq could handle and this winter I was planning on pulling the engine and throwing my extra ls engine in it. I'm wondering with the below mentioned mods if I could spray it into the low elevens or high tens.

Bigs and littles
Two stage wet nitrous kit 125 on first and 75 on second hit
Stand alone with c16
Obx headers or test pipes
Some sort of intake
Half shafts
Minor weight reduction
Utec or uprev
Nos two stage controller

Mostly I'm bored with my other car project and had a 350z in the past and want another one.

your motor will probably throw a rod before you hit tens with the amount of spray you'd need

this guy is prolly the closest

+1 and it will have to be direct port probably for distribution and hellava lot of wtq on that stock Jatco AT - so will need to throw money at that as well.

If suggest for getting into a ten, it would be...
Alcohol
Gym membership
Classical good looks
Charm and personality
Money
Then you'll be all the way into the tens, spraying all you want!

Probably will throw a rod, but I think with enough pulled timing it'd last a little while. Also the biggest thing to do to keep the engine alive is the to spray the second stage later in the power band such as 5500 to a little before red line and not have a massive first stage to minimize the torque hit. Also I'll be using straight race gas in the stand alone and probably a 93 race gas mix in the tank.

I looked at his thread quite a bit recently and liked his design I would rather use a wet kit though. Also instead of the direct port method I was thinking about buying a lower manifold spacer and have nitrous outlet put a spray bar in the spacer for the first stage, kind of like nitrous plate for carbed engines.

I was always intrigued about this distribution method but could never visualize where or how to mount this at or in the upper manifold. Seemed like a good alternative to direct port.

It can be done with bolt ons. 150 shot and 28s.

I ran just as fast with a off the shelf intake and a 150 shot as I have with my 185 shot and custom intake and exhaust. But I have traction issues now

My car would have ran 10s if I quit being cheap and bought 28s. I just don't have enough tire with the 26s

That's definitely a possibility and I think you would mount the puck from the middle of the roof of the the upper intake manifold.

Thank you for the encouragement and I'll definitely need 28 inch tires with the auto rear gearing.
