Default Wiseco 11:1 pistons and spray

Hi all, first post here in the 350z forums

I recently acquired a 04 G35 5AT and im in the process of rebuilding the bottom end. im getting 96mm Wiseco pistons (11:1) along with eagle rods.

i plan on buying a nitrous express wet kit and running a 100 shot, my question is, assuming i have a wideband and check the A/F ratios and everything. will it be safe to spray a 100shot at 11:1 compression?

bear in mind this is my first N/A car and my first time messing with the bottle

You'll be fine, just know your Transmission is your weak point.

Very very bad idea spraying it without tune.

If the timing isn't advanced over stock and the a/f is rich enough (high 11's ideally), the extra compression won't matter. If you want to stay at 100 or go higher, I would suggest having the car tuned for the nitrous, as the timing should be reduced 2-3 degrees where you are spraying the car, as the nitrous itself causes a faster burn and has the effect of advancing timing more, so it can cause detonation where there wasn't any before if not tuned accordingly, and detonation on a nitrous car breaks things quickly, as the cyl pressures can be many times higher than what an N/A car will see.
