Default Few questions on NOS for my Z

Whats up guys.. after doing research for a few weeks on the pros and cons of NOS vs boost I've decided that for right now the better direction for me would be boost (as money is a factor for right now) I do know some about spray but had a few questions.. Where does everybody tap into their fuel on the Z? I assume through the fuel rail but just wanted to be sure there wasn't a line i could tap through.. Also, anybody have any experience with the Zex kit? Was thinking of ordering the zex kit with the accessory kit (bottle warmer etc.) but have heard mixed reviews... Any info is greatly appreciated

First, NOS is a brand, Nitrous Oxide Systems, just like q-tip is a brand for cotton swabs.

For your first question, page 12 in the link:

Or page 8 in this link

If you still need more information, there are plenty of installs in the forum:

For your second question, generally, any kit is fine. The issues with the zex is the ZMU, zex management unit, which some people have had trouble with. I prefer dynotune. If you still need more feedback, there are plenty of threads about the zex kit:

I made a custom tap to go between the fuel rail/line attachment and add a fitting for the line to the solenoids. Most people do the same thing but down where the fuel line disconnect is, further down. These cars don't have a fuel pressure test port to make it easy.

On a 250 shot on a DE, I would call NGK and see what they offer in a 2-3 heat range colder plug. You won't find anybody on here running that much spray.

On my HR I was able to find a cheaper copper replacement number by calling NGK tech support, they were only about $6 each rather than $20/ea like iridiums. On a shot as large as you want to run, the plugs will need to be changed on a fairly regular basis, like every oil change.

Dude, your crazy, don't run a 250 shot of nos, you will blow your car if you don't build the motor to handle that, keep in mind stock components are good to about 400hp. If you do the nth you'd be hitting the 500hp mark while spraying. On a stock motor at that. Try running a 100 shot tops, nothing over 100 is recommended without support mods.

Yeah I know. But I had it like that on my previous car that was a 350z and it never broke or gave me problem. Out here we got night races deffirent day of the week and I like to spray my car. And the only reason why I don't have my 350z no more it's because it got hit and its was total loss but it was not my fault. So I whent and got this g35.

Call NGK, that's what I did. My plugs are different than yours, it's a different engine with a smaller thread plug so what I used is not gonna help you. Yes the copper ones have bigger electrodes and aren't prone to falling out or overheating with nitrous use.
