Parts List for a safe 100shot
Can Someone please list exactly what I need to safely run a 100 shot?
I've been thinking about:
Zex wetkit
zex pressure gauge
zex bottle opener
zex purge valve
Denso plugs 1 step colder
will I need anything else?
The system will not be used much at all, only for a few races every now and then.

Yeah go with the NX stuff. Couple people didn't like the Zex setup. Your probably gonna want some kind of guage. You can also get the bottle heater, not required. You will have to send the window switch to MSD though do a search and you will find out why. Just give them a call ask fo Ruben if he is still there. I think that's who was helping us.

the window switch is opinionated but i highly recomend one, just to be safe! also look into a SPX fuel adaptor. there has been much info here discussed on where to purchase one & how to install it correctly. the info you need for sending in the MSD window switch is as follows: ship the window switch pn#8956 or pn#8956-1 to:
MSD ignition
attn: repair dept.
12120 esther lama dr.
el paso, tx. 79936
include your year make & model of your car as well as what you want done to the switch. if you have #8956 you need the switch converted to 5v square wave & it needs to be adjusted to work on ONE cylinder. if you have #8956-1 then you only need the switch modified for 5v square wave. the choice is yours but safety is always best, no accidental shots below 3k rpms! and no bouncing off the rev limiter while fuel is cut & nitrous is still spraying! do a search on "window switch" & "spx adaptor" there is tons of great info for you on these items....best of luck,

If you are getting a window switch I would recommend the MSD Digital RPM Window Switch Part #8969. It does not require any modifications to work on the coil on plug setups and does not require pills.
It can be programmed from 200 rpm to 15,000 rpm in 100 rpm increments.
It does cost a bit more but you get a lot more for your money.
I used one for a couple of months until I replaced it with the NX Maximizer which has a window switch incorporated.
Available at JEGS http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...90&prmenbr=361 or Summit

i agree with jime on the window switch. search on ebay though for it. i got it form about $80 shipped brand new.
warmer is a must. if you plan on going to a dragstrip you might want to also get a blow down tube. nhra rules. if the dragstrip is a pile then im sure they wont check for it though.
look into getting a gen-x or gen-x2 kit. it has a bunch of stuff in one kit so you wont have to buy it all sperately. save some $$
