alright i need opinions guys:
1) Veilside lip (Authentic) color matched with the car on my current bumper with the varis intake duct already installed similar to this: https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...de-v1-pix.html
OR
2) Aerosync front bumper painted super black (if the guy is willing to ship): https://my350z.com/forum/exterior/47...ut-thread.html
I'm leaning towards the bumper if I can get it for the right price because it's already painted and it's urethane so can sustain some damage if needed. I like it cuz it reminds me a lot of a V2, but a bit stubbier (shorter) in the front (which I don't like). Ideally I'd want a V2, but too much $$ for Shine stuff so I'm compromising.
So which?? Btw, not gonna do sides or rear, just the front.

Well, I'm hanging up my wrenches for the next 6-8 weeks. I fractured my scaphoid in my right wrist. (There goes my love life) Well, maybe I will still squeak out a couple more ....

Fell backwards on a Detroit sidewalk when the wife and I were throwing snowballs at each other. It's always the dumb stuff that causes this.
Welcome back from AZ. Were you on Toyota's test grounds? Always wanted to do that.

Brian - Sorry to see that. Hope it doesnt take to long to heal.
I know not many people have 19" Rims in our area, but I picked up some tires from Billy a while back and have decided to buy some RE-11s instead of mounting them.

I don't know if you guys ever seen this before. Pretty touching story for a dad who had cancer, getting his dream car:

^^ Very touching there Mike. Both of my parents have passed. (Mom to Leukemia and Dad to heart attack) Parents give so much to their kids and ask for nothing in return. Remember this on Mother's Day / Father's Day. Don't wait for cancer before doing something like this.
Thanks D! Probably till mid-April. (I have to go see an Ortho and they will take more xrays and determine if surgery is necessary. (To install a screw)
Yeppers, It's a 6 speed. I have a TK Hebi Bebi on order. I hope the extra weight **** helps!
Thanks J. I hope so too. I've got parts on the way that need to be installed.

I've had a long-time dream of giving my dad a car of his dreams.
The first day I bought my 05 GTO, he drove it and I just sat in amazement at how well he drove. He literally drove silky frickin smooth like he'd always had one. He kept saying "Man..this is such an awesome car..man I'd get in so much trouble with this thing.."
Then, after that, I needed to borrow his 02 Suburban for moving out of the house. So I traded him my 07 TBSS for his 02 Suburban for a day. I remember him calling me right after he did a massive burnout leaving the shop and he was laughing so hard saying "MAN I WANT THIS THING!!!" lol. It was a lease, so I didn't care hehe.
Even after I downsized to the MS3, he said "Mike, this car is scary fast for how small it is.."
We had a project car that we built up together. It was an 89 Firebird Formula. He thought selling it would save my parents' marriage. I begged him not to sell it, but he thought it was the right thing to do. 11 years later, he still regrets selling it, as it obviously didn't solve the problem.
If I had enough money and time, I would have picked up another one that I found, for $2300 and we could have built it up over time again. But timing and finances never worked out. So we have fun working on the Speed from time to time. He's helped me install the exhaust, or just hung out while I did various work on the car. Now, he helps me with my house and we've bonded so much. But his health is deteriorating and i get scared that he won't live to see my kids one day. He's not sick, but he's always in pain and won't go get checked up. Stubborn I tell ya.
Here's another touching video of a dad buying a returning soldier a Mustang. I love this one:

You would be surprised of the healing effects that something like this can have. I think you should look for one that needs TLC and just make it a priority.
Here's an 89 Formula in Dearborn for $1500 OBO (350 V8 doesn't run.) Buy a used engine and have it running!

Yeah jon I've shipped tires b4. I just taped two together dropped it off at fedex. I forgot how much it was but it was a lot cheaper than I expected. Maybe 40 or 50 bucks?

Yeah I called this morning and everything I have been quoted for is from 50.00 to 90.00. They origonally said i could not tape them together, but that guy was an idiot. Thanks for the info. I will tape and wrap them together and drop them off if I get someone to buy.
