Wow looks like I missed the organized photo shoot. Sorry I had to leave early and miss both Brians. Ended up doing a lot today including buying a couple road bikes so good thing I left when I did.

Nice meeting everybody though, I took some pics but they're nothing compared to brians.

I should have showed up then! Nikon D40x! Aj knows i'm big into photography. Even back then with my Sony point n shoot.

 

Anyone know anything about the kinetix intake plenum? The polished one with the equal runners all going to one side? Its $700 and I've seen dyno charts of it on a bolt on vq making nice gains. But hardly anyone runs it. Can someone shed some light?

Plus I love the way it looks in the bay, and its supposed to sound crazy.

What's up fellaz? I've been doing some shopping, so hopefully I'll have a surprise in the next couple weeks.

I drove a 370Z and a 370ZR the other week. I loved the roadster, but I couldn't stand the wind noise at the B-pillar area with the top down -- it was horrible. Any other roadster owners notice this? It wasn't like that in the 350ZR.

That'd be cool if you pick up a 370z. Even if not, you should still come chill with us sometime.

 

There are two versions for the Kinetix plenum. Hardly anyone has the newer style. Certainly hard to find used. My understanding is that the newer style is tapered more towards the last runner (front of the car) to keep air velocity up and even distribution of air across the runners.

As for either one, I would avoid the Kinetix intake unless you're F/I. Same with the Cosworth. You will have negative effects on N/A.

Frow what I've read the Kinetix intake only takes power away from an NA VQ. If your FI and had to choose I would go with the Cosworth as it's supposedly a much better product.

Looks like my Z is not coming out of storage for a little bit as I severely sprained my "clutch" ankle playing hockey. Oh well guess I get to save a couple more dollars on my insurance premiums. Hope to meet up with some of you guys sooner or later as the weather continues to get better.

Mike -- Whats been going on? Are you telling us a 370 is in your future?

 

Just to double post and draw attenion...

I've still got a cabin for ZdaysZ this year and need to find a couple of people to help fill it. There's 2-twin beds, 1-queen bed and a couch. I'm holding one spot right now until I find out whether they can make it or not.... other than that I've got openings and would like room mates.

MAHER-Dude let me know if you get the 370 I have the R/D done on what your gonna want to get. That could have just been the particular one you were driving... I drove one (jess brought home from work) I Loved it.

Edmon they are right DON'T get it. Its too big for the displacement and no forced induction.

Mike NT is def good with Camera's still some of the best 350Z pics I have are from that impromptu day we were in Milford.
