My car is out from storage
My car is out sooner than expected
The tire on my Altima had a flat and it is unrepairable. So it's on a donut and the new tire won't come in until end of this week. Anyway, it's all for good
The weather looks very promising this week.

hey anybody planning on going to Oakos within the next month? I need to pick up a few things but don't feel like driving an hour to get them.
Or if you live around Sterling Heights and plan to come out west at all I can meet you too.
Lemme know.
Thanks

I suspect all the OEM bushings are already polyurethane. (Don't know for sure.) I checked Energy Suspension and I didn't see a single application (for anything) for the 350Z. Link to Energy Suspension Catalog
There are some universal parts worth checking. I may measure up my 350EVO sway bar mounts and see if I can replace theirs with greasable units. I may also replace the spring seat insulators.

fluids and such
Just FYI - I got some fresh Redline trans and diff fluid today at a local shop. S & G Imported Car Parts ( http://www.sgparts.com/ ). Comparable to online prices - minus the shipping.
Redline MT-90, MTL 10.91 per qt bottle. 75w90 diff 10.63 per qt bottle. and SuperBlue brake fluid @ $15 per L.
I went to the shop in Berkley, but looks like they have others around SE MI.
picked up some 3/8" hose for my oil catch can too. That should be a cool addition to the engine bay.
The Shockwave ))) v2 axle-back section went on and I friggin love it! It looks great and I can finally hear my radio while cruising. It's still loud and mean at WOT, but surprisingly pleasant while just driving. Excellent purchase. Low RPM accel is still nice, deep and throaty too.

Rob, I'll be going up to Oakos on Monday, April 5th to pick up some wheels for my friend. As long as what you want is not super huge, I imagine I can fit it all into my Impreza.

Hmm....I was planning on going early this Friday. But if you're for sure going then I guess you could pick up the parts for me. Only thing is you'll have to pay cash for it, then I can pay you back. Or I can pay you before hand too. It'll be $95 for a power bleeder, catch can, and 2 bottles of ATE super Blue (amber color)

yo peeps, I'm thinking of putting together a video this weekend (since I have a 3-day weekend and it'll be rainy on Sunday)
So if you guys have any pics / video of Michigan Z's can you send them to me
robtam at gmail dot com
Especially vids (like highway runs, burnouts, meets, anything to do with your Z)
Thanks

Make sure you guys call me next time you meet up!!!
Right now, I'm leaning toward a Vette. I can pick up an '08 Vette convertible for about $40k, and that's what a new 370ZR would cost me. Decisions decisions...
