im new owner for 350z.
i live in lansing, and wanna meet other z owners.

 

guys, i have my carbon parts listed for sale in the north central market place. i can drive anywhere within 20-30 miles to meet up, too.

 

I got my Z on the road yesterday, every spring it feels like I got a new car

 

I got mine out 2 days back (Monday). It does feel nice to drive Z after driving an Altima for 4 months. However, the rush I feel when I ride my Ninja (motorcycle) first time in the season is indescribable. It just feels like flying

woot! Last power mod is done! Got my 06 airbox w/ k&n filter put in today and I'm ready for my tune next weekend!

Power - Done (besides the tune coming up)
Suspension - Done
Exterior - Done (may need to add a diffuser in front/back cuz the car feels a bit wobbly at higher speeds)
Wheels / Tires - Done (for now)
Next up......Brakes!

Then I'll be done for a while lol

awesome pics! just pulled my z out of storage on tuesday....feels so good to be driving it again!

 

Looks like my car isnt going to come out of storage quite yet. The insurance is on, but Discount Tire messed up one of my rims when I they replaced my tires.

Hope I can get it resolved, they submitted the claim to their insurance company but are still saying they are not at fault. The manager said he cant say if they did or didnt do it because he wasnt there. He then stated how if he was there, he is not sure he would have exchanged the tires because of the type of rims they are, and if he did, he would have put his best guy on it and made sure I was standing over their shoulder. So I hope to know more in the next couple of days. This **** SUCKS!

 

I did an oil change yesterday and forgot to check the level and I have a little bit more than recommended. I put in about 5.5 qts of oil. After the car reaches the optimum temps the oil level is about 1 inch higher than the H mark on the dipstick. Can I leave it there or do I need to drain that to the right level?

 

I would drain it to the correct level, but remember your not supposed to check your engine oil until approx 10 min after the car is shut off. Thats just my opinion though. I always keep it within spec.

 

does anyone know that the shop where i can get ecu tune in michigan??
