mod party eh? Looks like I might have to buy more parts in order to take advantage of everybody's help haha.

AJ how about Sat. April 4th? First Autox is the 19th so I'd like to get everything done before then

And do you remember having to take off the exhaust to get the OE cats out?

hmmm...didn't know this. thanks for the heads-up.

i just checked my sticker and saw my build date was 12/03....which makes it an early '04. it might not even throw a CEL. i'll install them this weekend and see.

(fingers crossed)

Rob,

I can help if it's not cold as **** that weekend.

Zminus1,

I think AJ had the non-foulers, but I thought he kept throwing the CEL.

AJ, was that you or someone else?

That was me.
They really didn't do anything for me to be frank with you guys.
But hey it might work for them.....I know the later model cars throw the code more previlently. It might just be me actually.

If you are throwing the SES light, take it to pepboys and have them use the OBD scanner on it and tell you what the code says. Mine was only a small leak in the evap canister when I did my exhaust.

thats just how test pipes are. Let me know if you find a way to stop the rasp, because as far as I know there isnt a way unless you switch to HFC or back to stock cats.

I bent a valve on the S4 from bumping the rev-limiter.

Estimate repair cost 9k.

This happened 7 days after I replaced my Rear brakes and rotors and front wheel bearings.

2 Questions
-1. How the *** can that happen
-2. Why me

When it rains it poors.

//////////////rant

Someone please put me out of my missery.

that makes no sense. The rev limiter supposed to stop you from doing that!!! For that price you could get one hell of a nice used car.
