Mike, I can see Tamaroff from my office. Maybe I can go out a lunch and take a look at the car for you. I just looked at it online - it is NOT an enthusiast. It is a base model - just so you know. Low miles, but I would hold out for at least an Enthusiast model - that way you get cruise and a lsd.

hey guys~
im going to have a set of new wheels for my Z
the spec is 18/10+25 all around
however i know the offset is weak so i am going to have spacers as well there are two options i want to go one is 25mm and 15mm another is 10mm all around. what option looks more agressive for me w/o having adjustable camber arm any suggestion??
btw tires are 245/40/18 in the front 275/40/18 in the rear

You can fit a 245 tire on a 18x10 wheel? I guess this is the 'stretch' look? If you want to get the wheel flush.. I'd suggest slapping the wheel on and then measuring for additional space - that'd be the sure way to get the correct spacer.

My 18x9.5s are pretty close - the rear could use maybe a 5-10mm spacer (running 275/35/18 tires). But not a big deal to me and don't want to worry about rubbing.

Hey Quincey,

Yeah a 245 on a 10 inch wheel will be pretty stretched. You can try using this wheel offset calculator to see how much further the new wheels will stick out:

http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

Then you can figure out what size spacer you want.

Brian you saw his car (Quincey) at the dick scott meet.

"Slammed" = very low to the ground

What size wheel/tire are you running now (including offsets)

My bad, I thought his screen name was Quincy. Didn't we have a person in the North Central threads with the SN Quincy?

Tamaroff called again asking if I was interested again. I asked if it was the Base or Enthusiast model and he claimed it was Enthusiast but said they're all the same...

It definitely looks Base model with no steering wheel controls.

They send all their used cars to some used car lot connected to the nissan dealer.... Their ACTUAL Z salesman has got a clue. Or seemed to last time I talked to him.

Quincey, you might want to go with different tire sizes especially in front.
The spacers will be the problem though, you definatly need to make sure you have that exact. what Rob sent you is an outstanding reference.

Mike-find someone who know Z's at Tamaroff. Personally there WAS a good guy there that is now gone sadly. that dealership blows..I have heard nothing but bad things about them...all sides of it to be honest. I personally did not have agood experience there with my 05 Spec-V I ordered through them

I know Scott said his was ok....
Scott what was your guys name so that Mike can contact someone who is actually worth a crap.

that's a nice set Deepu. I think most of us have craftsman hand tools, I got a 100 somethin piece set and it's enough. But I paid around $100 so that's a good deal. Plus the lifetime warranty is the bomb. Already returned an extension that broke in half for a brand new one.

Next you're gonna want tool drawers to hold all your new tools Cuz that's what I'm planning to get next.

yea, your own home

Any of us on the boards can install an HKS exhaust with ease and be willing to help you out. Where do you live?

Well if ur willing to drive over to the US side and bring the exhaust we can do it.

If it's a new hks, the gaskets should be in the box (mine were). If not then yes, u will need new gaskets. Are u also installing HFCs or test pipes? If not then installing just a hks cat back should take like 2 hrs without hiccups (ie rusted bolts)
