Being so close to Paine Field there were some passes when Triple8Sol came by that fast section and I looked expecting to see some jet flying low in that section. That was a sick sound.
First350 let me co-drive w/ him in the PM session. Man, that thing felt like a full blown race car. It would spool up so quickly it surprised me every time. I think we found the limit of how much heat the Hankooks could take. They didn't have anymore more than a minute or two to cool down before it was out on course again. I <3 R-compounds.... 'cept when they over heat. Thanks again First350 for letting me co-drive!

too bad both Skylines looked lost out there for all of their runs...I was hoping to see them really push it! (The course was one of the most confusing I've ever seen...you could get confused even walking it)

Yeah, I've been noticing a gradual decline in the quality of the trophies in WWSCC. Not that today's local autoX's give great show pieces, but other clubs have skimped on their trophy budgets it seems.
I've seen some of the trophies that the guys who'd been doing it for over a decade have gotten. Over 10 years ago they were really nice; solid wood, finely finished plaques w/ brass plates for class and position, trophies w/ solid marble bases w/ real metal features.... all for winning just local autoX's.
