And usually the state refs are very knowledgeable. All of them are mechanics with a bundle of young assistants at their heels that KNOW alot about aftermarket parts. You can't escape these guys.

They're just as knowledgeable as we are, except they work for the law.

No, not necessarily. It depends on the cvc number on the ticket.

thats what i thought because when i had an exhaust ticket back with my evo, i had to bring my car to a CHP to get it signed off.
