Yeah I can always just do the fun run, but I think they are at the very end, which kinda sucks. There's really no best way for me to do it. Only good part about OSP was that ntrinsik in his G35 ran at the same time.
As a matter of fact, I have my LM autox that same Sunday. I'm in RG5 / working 6. I may not get there in time for the meeting and RG5, so she has OK'd me for this time to arrive and drive. I will try to make it in time, still, but depending on how many people show up for RG1-4, I may be late. I should get there 1/1:30 from my autox in Sunnyvale. Hoosiers on / Hoosiers off / drive to Marina / Hoosiers on / Hoosiers off.

That's a good idea Scott, I may just email her and see if I can run early on my way down to LA.
I just want to run in the dry at least once, and this will be the last one I can do until next September. Hopefully I can run at home in the summer.

There is a drift event this Saturday at Great America. I don't know the group, but I was invited by Patrick so I could ask.
UFO allows some drifting though, but if you spin (three?) times, you have to stop drifting and finish your lap rather than hold everyone else up.

I think stereo removal in SM2 is legal? Though now that you mention that, I guess mine is illegal right now too, because of the open space. Maybe I'll cut some plexiglass tomorrow and try to make a nice clean filler there, would be nice to wire up a few switches there (video/data) while I'm at it.
I'd go for OPS and run against the Miatas. That would look the funniest at least!

Oh yeah, Challenger was a boat! This was almost two years ago, right when they came out. The driver looked like some rock star, like Mick Jagger. It was hilarious.

Not sure what you mean? If you mean can I get approval to run non-legal ones in BSP? I don't have any intention of that. I'm building the car for National competition, not local, so everything needs to be by the book.
I meant to say....did you appeal for clarification on what is or is not legal? The ones I use are most definitely not legal for Nat comp, but have been cleared for regional play by WDCR. I am just curious what route you are thinking of going....as I will probably follow your lead.
Also, Chris, I was very, very bored at work today and going through the 350z to ESP thread on SCCA......and thought it was interesting that there is no comment regarding the V6 genesis. It is arguable the most similar car to ours and it is already in F-stock (...and ESP?). Granted it is a bit heavier......but it hasn't made any impact on the current state of F-stock and ESP.

Still need to take a weekend or two to replace: timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses, radiator, bushings for front/rear control arms.
