Norcal Track Days
Not much, popcharger, motordyne MREV2 and 5/16" spacer. Put stock cats back on a while ago and I'm on stock exhaust. Exhaust costs so much $$$ for so little hp N/A. Plus the only exhaust I really would want is motordyne. I might do that if I spring for a vortech.
Still even stock Z's gain a lot of benefit from tuning. Stock ECU tune is garbage.
The only thing I'm missing for this weekend is carbotech brake pads. Forgot to order and now it's too late.

Not to say its not nice to have, but there's a reason why some of those little miatas can keep up. Or in Scott's case, how he can keep up with all them vettes and other v8s that got like 100 hp on him... unnatural...
I <3 my carbotech pads.
Ya you'll feel a nice difference after you get a tune.

hehe agreed. I was being sarcastic, in that the parts for acceleration isn't everything, if anything, on the track.

Most of the difference is in the braking and momentum through the turns. One quick example I found (and also a decent demo video for guys that are relatively new to Thunderhill) - watch the Porsche pull on me starting from 3:33, then I close the gap coming down the hill, then he yanks me again on the straights:

And while looking for other vids with Vettes, I came across one that has me in it from another car's view, which I don't get too often. You can hear the Z at the 3:30 mark in the background. If you get bored watching the whole thing, be sure to at least watch at 5:50.

This vid from Laguna Seca shows Rob (ZCG) and I tearing through the pack, then fighting for 1/2 a lap to get past a Corvette (starting at ~8:30). We finally get by him heading into T11, which sets me up to make a questionable momentum-pass between T11 and T1 on the 370. Be sure to turn off the sound.

You should boost your car, that'd be SICKKKK!
100? More like 150hp!

stock silverstone here. Are there plans to caravan up this Saturday?
I wanted to but can't cause you are gonna be there leaving later. I'll look for you.
ya, I might be there a little late, like 730. Depends on if this friend is going or not. If not, I'll try to get there earlier. Would be nice if we could get parking all near the same area though.
Yeah I would have been down to cruise there with you but it says I have to be there by like 7-715 for the meeting.
) meeting at 7:15.http://www.ncracing.org/images/schedule/sched110709.gif
