Come on, guys! Come out to CityTech (speedsf.com) on 2/1 for the Time Attack and track day! All Zs (and all cars of course) are welcome, and they're redefined how they do their TA series based on base points for the car plus add-ons for modifications. Are you:

RWB - run watcha brung: 30+ points
OMG - oh my god fast: 25-30 points
FOF - flat out fast: 19-24 points
PAF - pretty and fast: 13-18 points
PF - pretty fast: 7-12 points OR
P - pretty, 0-6 points ?

Points are added for aero, suspension, tires, drivetrain mods, FI, and weight reduction. Check it out here: www.speedsf.com

I do want to go with city tech, I've heard good things, but I wanted to go two days instead of one. 2/7 and 2/8 had back to back events. 2/1 was by itself.

How does the Time attack work? Do they just time everyone? point system for season? are there rewards?

Just signed up for 2/1 Citytech Thunderhill day. Running PAF class in my HR 350z, and also in group B. Hopefully I can podium and don't get smoked by everyone in my class.

Yes, the TA cars are timed. There are awards for the day and the season.

Hopefully this will be a pretty heavy class with at least 5 cars to start. I know there will be some S2ks, and at least we two Zs in the P&F group! Hopefully more.

If I sign up I would be in PF, all I have on the list are 275 tires, which is 11+1.

right on the edge because 12 is max for the group!

No intake, exhaust, or anything? Sweet!

BTW, you can have 275 tires (140 tread rating or higher) without a points penalty, so you're still at 11 so you have room for ONE more point!

I could take my NISMO on 140 tires and run against you, but I think I'll just stay in the P&F group (and run the (stock) NISMO on comp tires (+5)) until I do some mods to it (then run 140+ tires).

They will be posted online, maybe not in this thread though, but I can post them or link to them. I expect that class to run in the 2:10 and higher area, but who knows.

Im gunning for a 2:06 or faster bypass on the 1st if weather permits.

Yup! It's completely stock (11 base points) except for coilovers (+2) and paint (+0). I may bring some tires to be competitive and get my points closer to or equal to 18.

KW Club Sports and 275 or less tires, (to save the additional oversized tire points); not sure what tires I'll use yet though. Likely very-used BFGs leftover from SpecZ.
