Just got back from second track day at thunder hill. Was interesting, first time without instructor. On close to last lap on last session I pushed turn 2 a bit too hard. Not enough experience to tell exactly what I did what, but I think I got on the gas a little too early and a little too much, started to feel like I was going too fast and had too much oversteer so I lifted. Car started sliding pretty bad and eventually ended up spinning out into the dirt and got black flagged. Was a good oh **** moment for sure but thankfully everything was okay! Definitely need to work on being smoother.
That was the problem. I'd go with an instructor your first 3-4 days, then do some of your own learning, then mix in an instructor every couple of events. Unless you're Andretti, you can always learn more. I take out an instructor every event possible...
Found a torn bushing up front (was trying to find out where my clunk was coming from) so I'm changing out a few front end bushings, and may not go next month.

If I can share something here, I would say on turn 2, you probably want to run about 60-65 mph. Dont push it too hard! this is a wide turn and wanna stay inside the inner perimeter about 3-4 feet from the road. This is a high G force turn.
Looking at your description above, I would say you stepped on the gas too early before you exiting the corner. IMHO.
So I ended up with SPL inner LCA bushings and whiteline shock mount bushings, was gonna get an alignment before BRP anyway but this is an excuse to lol. Should be ready to go in time *crossing fingers*
