I like me some Thunderhill, and some buttonwillow, who needs anything else!?

I need to cross MRLS, and sears off my list. 11/3 seems like it could be a good day *crossing fingers no rain*!

I just read that Thunderhill will be expanding the track to become the country's largest track next year. 4.8 miles should be awesome.

2014. Vodden says even "early" 2014. Construction has started. I doubt many events will utilize the entire track since the rental fee will ~ double. NASA, SCCA, Lemons, etc., will likely use the whole track, but the general track groups will likely rent one side OR the other.

It's been a while, but I was there representing @ Thunderhill on 8/30 with my heavy *** DD.

I'm hoping to work out a place to store a set of track tires/wheels for the next go around. Tried out some Carbotech XP8s this time and the Akebonos were quite happy.

I don't think I'm making it out to any events this month, but maybe Thunderhill again with NCRC November.

Just bought a JWT oil pan spacer - AEM water/oil temp gauges. Also working on shrouding my front end and opening it up a bit more, also plan to install my brake ducts in this process because my front will be apart anyway!

Paid for my roll bar, harness and everything else. Cannot wait for my car to have more saftey at the track, and I hear having a harness is awesome during track driving.

Spectating, safety won't be done in time.

Driving at 7-8/10ths is good for Seca for your first time anyway, so this is an ideal time, IMO. Learn the track, be cautious, don't try to set any records.

See you tomorrow guys!

Good to see some Zs out there yesterday! I saw four 350Zs including my own, and a 370.

And a perfect day with NCRC (and 'open' group got the bonus session - woot!)

Hi guys, I recently got a Z

Is there a specific site that shows all track events in norcal, with the location, date, and organization? Trying to plan out some 2014 schedule without going through each organization site.

I'm going to Infineon this weekend and also on Nov 23rd. Will be going to THill Dec 21st also. Anyone going?

Yeah, SC-Z and I were doing lead/follow on the bonus session when the S2k came in to play with us. We were 3 of 5 cars in that session - open track! (but not much grip bc it was getting cold, and my Z sprung an exhaust leak which killed the powah)

There are some sites that commingle track days from independent groups, but not all of them. MotorsportReg is one example. Just keep an eye out here for when people are going to events. I mostly go with CityTech, NASA, NCRC, and TrackMasters, but will spring for a Speedventures or PCA event sometimes as well depending on how the dates work out. Others go with Hooked On Driving and other groups, too. I am not going to any of those dates you mentioned.
