Here are a few new pictures from when I went shooting yesterday and a few of my buddy's pickup truck. I think the ones of the truck turned out decent so I thought I would post em up

Good pics everyone!!
You can really see the imperfections that Photomatix create in the last truck pic. The difference in brightness on each side of the antenna.
The grip of that gun doesn't cast a shadow on the table which makes it look like that part of the gun was superimposed.

Great shots!! You may have been able to avoid a washed out sky on the first pic if you could've take added some really low exposure pics to that series.
I love the black & white Z's shot. It's almost looks like yin & yang. A battle between good & evil. The universe in perfect, harmonious balance. So on & so forth.

Most users here are using a program called Photomatix Pro. It blends the images & tone maps them for you to produce the HDRI's. Some purists will create an HDRI in Photoshop.

It is weird how they cant seem to stay the actual white that they are i have done this car in many different backgrounds HDR of course and it has turned all different kins of colors. I think it fits very well in this one though just my opinion

First select the "Detailed" mode under Menu > Setup (wrench) Menu > CSM menu, otherwise you'll only to get the first few items!
12: BKT Set: This controls bracketing, which are multiple shots made at different guesses of exposure or white balance.

Will taking multiple exposure shots come out better than 1 RAW & creating duplicate images with different exposures in CS2 or CS3 & then blending them in Photomatix? I know it's more time consuming but will the quality be the same. I just figured that method can be used in high action shots when opportunities for a great shot is not so abundant.

Anybody using Macs try Bracketeer?
Bracketeer is a front-end GUI for Enfuse. Enfuse is a command-line freeware utility which uses multiple exposures of a scene (bracketed exposures) and merges them together to form a uniformly lit scene. It is similar to tonemapping with an HDR image except that no HDR image is ever created, and there is no ghosting. It works with any kind of bracketed image set, not just panoramic equirectangular images. Bracketeer can even auto-align hand-held shots! The results are almost always much better than anything that can be achieved with Photoshop's HDR Tone Mapping.

I'm wondering if the software will produce images without the haloing effects that are created in Photomatix HDRI's.
