So I have been messing around with HDR for the past couple days and I have figured out that it's not all that hard. And like others have said, HDR is what you make it, weather it be extreme or subtle. It's whatever YOU like.

But I have a question, I am using a Cannon XT and using the -2, 0, +2, bracketing. I followed the tutorial in this thread (stuckincustoms.com) and been able to generate some HDR's from just some crappy random shots. But the image is coming out really grainy when converted to HDR via photomatix then Photoshop. What can i do to fix the grainy effect? Thanks, I have been able to benefit a whole lot form this thread.

Are the shots becoming grainy or were they grainy to begin with?
ISO on the shots?

I didn't liek the results i got from photomatix

it may look good in poor quality, but it got really fuzzy when it tried to align the images.

HDR's are so over done and 95% of the time they look horrible.

I use HDR specifically for a more exaggerated look. I love crisp clear pics or macro's just as much as the next guy buy sometimes I want to step outside of the box and see how far I can inhance the picture. Just my $.02 though.
