P.S. Photomatix can also use only one shot and generate a hdr shot off of it. Thats how you get a motion shot in hdr, much like the Falken s13 above. They don't cover the range quite as well, but you can get some really good shots with practice.
Rick and Nick are both on board MY350Z now When you gonna get your *** back up here and show me how to do some of this with my new camera?

Excellent 1st attempt! I love how the rays shine down on the Z. Beautiful. That's why I love HDR.

Sweet pics! HDR just makes photos look so much more dramatic. Especially with those ominous clouds for your backdrop.

Nah. Unfortunately you have to actually adjust the exposure settings prior to taking the picture.

I think Photomatix can make an "HDR" picture using just one image...I only have a demo version, but I think I remember seeing that, or reading it online somewhere.

David, you can take RAW pictures in Photomatix and tone map them but you can't actually create an "HDR" picture with one image. In that tutorial that Anderson posted you can see some examples at the bottom of tone mapped RAW pics. Still look pretty sweet, but not HDR

Took these yesterday. Let me know what you think. I still don't know what the different Photomatix controls do...I just move them around

Fixed a few things...these are my favorites.

My first attempt.. some things i learned

1. for HDR processing... Photomatix > Photoshop CS2
2. I think the most dramatic shots will be taken at really close to dusk or dawn.. not in mid afternoon like i did..
3. next time i'm going to shoot the HDR photos in RAW mode

Thanks

Leemik.. I really like that picture. The best thing about HDR to me is the ability to bring out a great background (sunset, clouds, etc.) and still maintain an awesome looking foreground. Welcome to a new addiction

PS - Why is your gorgeous Z hiding behind that EVO?
