At least try to keep the car or the main object in your pictures as realistic or close to real looking as possible. But if your going for the surreal look, forget about everything I previously said.
Thanks I'm still tinkering around with different settings to find out what I like. It's deffinitely "laid on thick" so to speak in those pics. I like they way they turned out cuz that's what I wanted was a heavily exagerated version of it but I know with more messing around I can get it to the type that you are talking about. I mainly got the ideas above from Alvin's recent pics by the Space Needle.

I know I'm whoring these pics but I'll take more when I get my car out of the body shop for some cosmetic changes. Or maybe I should just wait for my new wheels before I have another photo shoot. Anywho, these are for anyone who hasn't seen them yet. Camera = Fuji Finepix S7000/shot in RAW/HDR processed in Photomatix Pro & touched up in CS2.

wow I remember your pics from awhile ago. They turned out awesome. I suggest taking pics with whatever mods you put on to kind of have a time line of your Z.

Point taken I guess the best way to explain it is like a stock Z is stunning the way it is. but we add parts to make it pop out more from the normal one we see everday. But I deffinitely understand where you're coming from and know there are TONS of non HDR pics that would look worse if they did go through that process...
EDIT: Taurran stunning pics as usual....
