Looks awesome Nate. Wonder why the sky is still overexposed... what stops did you shoot the pictures at and how many did you use?

Thanks but I think my pictures are nothing compared to some of the guys on here Typically when I shoot HDR, I have the camera set in program mode and then manually adjust the exposure for the different shots. Usually use 5 shots (the more the better range you get). If you look at an exposure meter on the camera (picture below) the difference between the whole numbers (1 to 2, -1 to 0, etc.) are called "stops" and the lines between are third stops. So if you were to shoot 5 pictures you could use -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 or even 7 pictures at -2, -1 1/3, -2/3, 0, 2/3, 1 1/3, 2 to get a higher range. It gets even more complicated when you take into consideration the point of HDRs and the use of histograms but I will try to explain that to you in person

Check out the picture below, might help to visually understand it better.

Yeah, the bright exposures show you the close up details and darker exposures bring out things farther away, the sky, etc.

Sweet. You know you don't have to put IMG tags around your IMG tags right? lol

how do you get your photos to be so clear and real? i've been messing with mine for a while, and mine just turns out with more pixels, where it looks like crap.
