Got a UTEC for $700 if you want (maybe less). Used for 200 miles. This belongs to a friend of mine. PM me if your interested.

Can I have your babies?

I thought I was ingenious when I was fabricating hydraulic setups in lowriders, but Jesus Christ you are on another level. I'm extremely impressed with your skill and knowledge.

I know what it is, and I am assuming that this is what adapts the oil pressure sensor port to the T fitting but I can't seem to find the fitting.

Does anyone know where I can get this fitting?

Thanks
Parker Hydrualics? Just throwing it out there. I used them all the time when I was building lolos.

No problem. Just trying to save you a few $$$. Good Luck with your project. Seems to be coming along very well. A lot of new ideas. I like the creativity.

Vortech hooked me up with the fittings so I'm good now.

Thanks for the help!

Power steering will be done this week. Hopefully the radiator this weekend. Oil return and sending lines will be done (I had a piece of left over -8an and it was crap so I gotta get more). Fans will be on order and Friday or Monday my UTEC will be ordered.

Tax return is going towards injectors, wideband and exhaust components.

New belt setup:

Thermostat Setup:

Radiator Cap/Filler Setup:

The filler outlet and the rear coolant pipe may be a bit to close to get the hose to bend and go into each fitting. I may be moving the weld bung further back to make the bend more friendly.

Power steering lines are done!

Those Russel Power Steering fittings can be a real pain to put in but they are well worth it.

2800CFM worth of fans are on the way for my radiator along with the last -4AN fitting for my oil feed line for the SC.

Amsoil breather filter is also on the way for my crankcase ventilation system.

And yes the wires will be all cleaned up when it is all done. I am looking to move as much wires out of view as possible to really clean the engine bay up.

Lol. What it came down to is that the "nuts and bolts" of a project cost a fortune. I needed to save some money somewhere and I know that these fans work good. Plus the shroud on the other fans was a bit to big to fit on my radiator.

My one piece of advice for anyone who ever wants to do a custom project, don't just look at the cost of the big parts. Remember that every fitting (I have over $500 in fittings alone), every spacer, every nut and every bolt cost money. Heck, going out and buying a $30 thing of Loctite red and a $30 bottle of loctite blue, then RTV silicon etc. It all adds up.

Awesome work as usual quamen. Glad to see things shaping up nicely. If you had to do over, would you do it all again?

+1 on the project costs, building my turbo kit for my MR2 was the same way, I had almost $500 in fittings and nuts/bolts when the project was all said and done. Little things add up very quick in this arena.

I would definitely do it over again! This project has been an absolute blast! I mean, I am always working on something so what is the difference. I am currently doing my project, just finished designing the SC kit for the Porsche 928 that I posted pics of, and started going over the white Porsche for when we go to Pikes Peak this summer. On top of all that today I start working on our black 32V Porsche 928 kit (which should take some minor design changes) and once the kit is developed and documented the black Porsche is getting built for Boneville with twin centrifigal SC's!!!

I would say that as long as you are patient doing a custom build is a huge learning experience and is lots of fun and lots of headaches at the same time.

More fittings on the way. Got some stuff to plug up the coolant port next to the thermostat where the bypass tube went, weld fitting for my catch can connection to the inlet tube on the SC and some stuff for the throttle body coolant bypass.

This may be a somewhat odd question but lets say that you put a fan on one side of a radiator pulling and another fan on the other side pushing are the CFM's cumulative?

I can definately understand that. Although no where near your extent, I remember buying the misc parts needed, nuts bolts fittings hoses, and it coming out to be much more than expected. GL with everything.
