Default Forged Performance: Jay's car is Greddy'ed and Strong!

So the APS TT Tuner kit came off, and the Greddy TT 20G kit went on, and problem of the mysterious power drop off has been solved. So yes, the APS Tuner TT turbos are no good on built motor, and are not designed for big power. I wish I had known this back when I suggested the kit.

After the first pull, I could tell the whole car just felt completely different...in a good way. The power curce is nice and smooth, and consistent.

Thought I would share some pics, and close the loop on the final outcome.

15 psi according to the graph. Very nice, smooth powerband, reaching 500 whp on Sharif's dyno easily.

Back to Show AND GO now baby! Congrats Sergeant!

Sharif, nicely done - I know this was a tough situation with the darn APS tuner kit fiasco - good to see both of you come through it with a great result.

Nexx, Imma start off im not Mexican lol.. Im Puerto Rican..

Now on to the car.. Yes, it was super hard to go through this (knowing you didnt wanna TT just to make the same power u dropped it off with).... The sad part is Sharif and I had to endure alot of ******** because of APS new tuner kit..

Im glad its all removed, greddy done, and perfect!!

There is so much I could say and want to say but Ill start by saying thanks to Forged Performance..

After it was done today, I felt a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulder, and now can put this in the past.. Sharif, Sandy, Ryan, AJ, Dylan, and Alex all put alot of work into my car... I appreciate it all.. I cant wait to get the car back!!

To answer the plenum question, it was powder coated per Sharif recommendation..

NO MORE BROKEN SC BELTS WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!

The strut bar is Aerosync CF BTW!!!!

Sick pics Sharif!!

The aps kit comes with much better turbos than the greddy kit. Saying that the greddy turbo's are better is complete blasphemy.

What was the condition of the aps kit when it was installed, and who installed it?

Drill Sergeant, would you care to tell us what you think of these new APS turbos and how they might compare to Greddy 20G snails?

Sharif, do we need 15 psi dyno overlays to see just how superior the APS turbos are?

(Jay, you did want an epic thread, did you not?)

I wonder if people are still unaware that APS doesn't use Garrett turbos anymore? You don't think a well-informed lawyer would jump to conclusions without getting all the facts straight, now would you?

True....smaller and spool faster. Personally I would take the quality of greddy over APS any day, only cause of the experiences I've had..but my APS tuner kit before the rebuild was pushing out identical #'s to the 20G #'s in this post. Usually when someone goes big like this w/ turbos such as these..correct me if I'm wrong, but they're pushing for 600+
