Revs not dropping causing me to grind gears when shifting fast!
Hello this is my first post so if i'm in the wrong place ill move this thread but I recently bought a 2004 350z 6spd and got a new transmission in it (planned expense) but now when i'm attempting to shift quickly I notice my revs dont drop immediately! so i'll take you through the motions :
1. You hit the gas
2. You push your clutch all the way in and yank that bad boi into second
3. Your grind your gear even tho you had the pedal all the way down
I can see my revs not dropping right away and can basically grind gears whenever I feel like it just by shifting fast, I went and watched other nissan 350z 0-60s and watch their revs drop right away sooo whats my issue?
thanks, James

I think I figured it out
1. Hit throttle
2. Release throttle and push in clutch at the same time
3. Shift gears
4. Release clutch and back on throttle
