Oh yeah... have we mentioned yet that the grand prize for the poker run is a free track event entry for 2006?
Yea, I'm not really in the mood this week to drive from here (Raleigh) all the way to Fontana and back, but I loved the dragon last time. If I do stay in ralleigh I will probably go to the RPM Nissan deal, just to hang out, but probably not the poker run. Although the free track event is enticing

MP, I got a call from Zach last week, and it looks like the event is canceled, as his group can't make it. So it would just be me and you MP. I think I am going to goto the Durham meet...

Sounds good man. Chances are I'll be there since its only a 20min drive or so from my apt. As much as I wanted to do the Dragon, I'm kinda glad I don't have another 800+ mile weekend ahead of me.

Default Z crash on Dragon!

This might be old news to some(?), but I just checked out www.tailofthedragon.com...haven't been on since ZDAYZ. On Fri the 14th of Oct a "Z" went off the mountain They said there were no serious injuries. Just checking to see if it might be anyone in here?

That was StudyBuddy... amazingly, car was only mildly damaged and no one was hurt in the accident. Front bumper and rocker panels were messed up on the Z, but he drove the car away (after a wrecker pulled it out of the ravine) and then home at the end of the weekend.

I saw his video from his camera mounted in the car, he just goosed it a little too much exiting a turn fish tailed twice and was just hanging on. He was really lucky, but the funny thing was he was real cool about everything. It didn't really seem to phase him. He was a funny guy and stayed in the room two down from me.
