My friend wants to race me he has a stock s2000 and he said he can beat me. We're going to race starting from 20mph, 30 so on. Who here has ran with s2000 before?

it should be a drivers race with the advantage going to you because of torque i think you will pull him exspecially from a roll you might get him pretty good.

Top speed : 155 mph(electronically limited)
0-60 mph : 5.4 sec.('03 manual)
0-¼ mile : 14.1 sec @ 101.0 mph('03 manual)
Horsepower : 287 hp @ 6200 rpm(auto/'03-'05 manual)
Torque : 274 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm

0-¼ mile : 14.2 sec @ 98.0 mph

So you're looking at about a tenth of a second for both the 0-60 and 1/4mi (assuming both cars driving perfectly), higher top speed, and +40hp & +112lb-ft, to make up for the 438lbs extra the 350Z weighs.

I have 2 s2000 in my family. We test them, Z always comes out.

 

I dont know most of what I have read the S2000 is a bit faster than the 350z...? Consumer Reports shows the 07 S2000 beating the Z by allot ???

 

haha I have an 02' RSX sitting in the garage too, I goddamn love the Z...

 

If I HAD to get a Honda, I'd opt for the S2K or the NSX. Other than that, Z's always been my choice.
