2006 "the Run": PMI HPDE/track day
By the way, not overly sensitive about it. The HPDE from the description of it sounds like its going to be the very best part of the day, and from what everyone says, it’s the biggest reason I want to do this. I got my jollies in all day last PMI going fast and learning the track. This will give me a chance to really improve the high speed driving skills and put it down on the track even more so next time. As the parts on the car start to get racked on, and the car gets faster, I want to know I have the skills to handle them and not get myself injured because I couldn’t. SO cheers for putting this together for everyone, none the less for free, its an amazing opportunity, because as you said, it costs a lot to get this done through a school, trust me I know, I priced it!

As for payment, the track will collect the fee on Saturday morning before we start. For a helmet, I'd suggest you drop by Leary Racing Products (303-922-4227) at 1990 S. Navajo St. in Denver (just west of Evans and Santa Fe) and try on their SA-rated helmet selection. I'd particularly recommend the Impact Racing Velocity model. It's an open faced SA-05 helmet that retails for $225.

Some of us will go down to Pueblo on Friday night and stay at a hotel, so maybe THAT will keep work from ringing you up!
Do they accept cash, checks, credit cards? I'm heading to the store today to pick up the helment.
Thanks David! Sooo excited!
Cash and Check. Checks are made out to PMI. Anyone have a hand on friday to put in some bads down in the springs? I dont have the tools or local to do it and id like to get them in and start bedding them on friday to make sure they are prepped for the race saturday. Got HP+ to replace my HPS pads.

With about a week to go the list looks like this: Rjg, Kevinapex, GaryM05, Bottom, Jgray, Resolute, Amarao, Zmanco, Funkeymonkey1111, myspivey, bamyi and me. Darrel will be coming as well, but won't be driving.
