Renting PMI/PMP (HPDE)

They claimed this was overlooked when I originally requested an exclusive on the track. When I protested, they mentioned that other driving schools have held their safety schools during open track days.
I told them I would not compromise the safety of any participant in any event I was leading. I explained that our driving exercises utilize part of the track and cannot be done while the track is "hot". The reply was that this was a misunderstanding and that September 28th would be an open track day, with either RMVR members or anyone who had previously passed the safety class paying the $100/driver track fee for the day.
I apologize that we cannot put on a Nissan/Infiniti safety class that day. If anyone who has already been through the Nissan Sport safety class wants to still go on 9/28, I'd be happy to join them for an open track day. Depending on how many people show up, they may separate cars up into different groups with limited or open passing rules. Remember what we learned about passing and being passed (safely) during the class. With Robert K's time back in Colorado is limited, I know he'll still be interested!
One final topic is for those Z or G pilots who remain interested in attending the PMP Safety class. I asked for and received an alternate date only four days afterwards (Tues, Oct 2nd) for an exclusive on the track. I'll put up a separate thread this weekend giving details and asking if interest still remains in conducting that class.

if the RMVR is there from 9/29 to 9/30, how does this affect the 9/28 day?
here's an interesting post from their board:

Don't count on it. According to a couple of posts on that thread, the La Junta date was not in the first schedule release. So many may have had their summer schedule already set.
So far it's the motorcycle and RMVR clubs that is leading the fund raising so far for the new track.

I'll be there if I can make it, but unfortunately I can't make a solid commitment.
i'm up for a general tech day for changing out my driver's side window motor--of course, this is wholly unrelated to track prep, since i'm not eligible for this event.
but, i'm always willing to cash in or knowledge from local 350 mechanics.

Guess I should've mentioned I plan on staying in the Springs area for a tech day. However, if you're willing to drive south more than welcome once we set a location and time.
