Default Guys with subs: what kind of components in doors? NEED RESPONSE!!

What kind of component speakers should I get in the doors?

I'm looking at Boston Acoustics, and my budget is $400-$450 including installation.

I'm running two 10 inch JL Audio W0's powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp (400 W X 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS) in my trunk, and I have a four channel Alpine amp MRV-F340 running the doors and the two speakers behind the head.

My audio guy tells me I should get some Boston Acoustics Pro60 components which he'll give me for $480 plus 100 for installation. He recommends Boston Acoustics FX8 for the ones behind the head for $120 plus 75 for installation. That'll total close to $800 - a bit over my budget.

He tells me since my bass is so loud, I should go with the pro series, but I'm wondering if I can go for something a bit less that'll still sound good and can handle the power.

Please recommend speakers in my budget!!!!

i would spend all of your budget on a nice set of front components, if possible get a set of three way for the front. This is the first time I ran a three way setup in any of my cars and the difference is quite noticable. Rear speaker are mainly for fill, the Z's cabin is so small that its pretty useless and with the location of the speakers they get blocked by the seats. Im running a set of Focal Utopia 165w3's in mine. If you wanna hear them hit me up.

The JL Audio XR series componends are really nice. They have a really full and rich sound and not to bright. Alot of midbass.

Klipsch 6.5" Mid in the door
1" Ti Dome in a 60x90 tractrix horn molded in the kicks
custom XOs

doubt anyone else is runnin' these

I would suggest some Boston, Diamond or ADS for a 2-way
3-way ... like Ted said ... Focal = amazing

Get a nice 2 or 3 way set up in the front and forget about the rear fill. That $$ is better spent on a nicer amp or just save it.
