Gauging Interest: 350Z/G35 only track day in Pahrump, NV

Wait a minute. The first question is whether the track is available, and at what price? IF it is available, then the question becomes, if we cannot do it, who can? If they want a corporate group and that means folks like Speedventures etc., we just touch base with John and Aaron and see what it takes for sign ups to make a deal. They are in the business and I would think that to get a full track on SEMA weekend in Vegas would be like shooting ducks in a barrel. Twice the price, but with 60 cars in four groups...that still brings the per driver cost to typical.
But if they want sponsorship by a car company or tire company or something like that, obviously that is a toughie....but not impossible. We could call Toyo or Nitto or somebody, have them contract with SV, and we put up the cars so that there is enough participation to make it a free throw....so there are ways.
So back to the question....is it available on the 28th?

^^^He wouldn't even tell me lol. Aaron would have to call him I think. Speed Ventures already has a weekend there, so I am sure you don't need company sponsors, just some type of organization instead of a few random people that want to rent the track. I think his main concern is that I have no experience in running track days and a company, like SpeedVentures does.

Yeah, welcome to Vegas. Probably have to cross somebody's palm to get in the express line to get your hot link sandwich at lunch on track day!!!!
Send a "sonar ping" to Aaron and ask if we could do a date there, and we would surely get 20-30 cars in our group, will he put in a call and consider organizing it? No harm in asking. Indeed, most of those casual encounters on the street in that town start with an innocent question, if I understand that culture correctly.

How about this...Speed Ventures is there June 10th & 11th and there are still TONS of spots left for both days. Do we want to tag along to his already planned track day? Maybe he will give us our own run group or Time Attack class? Then we can plan the original event in California at a track that doesn't have as high a price and is closer to home for most, just in case.

Isn't it pretty hot in Vegas at that time (like PHX)? That's why the SEMA time is better (late October). Bad time for me anyway... gotta play "acting boss" at work while the boss goes abroad.

^^^Yeah it will be HOT in Vegas around then. Speed Ventures will be there either way so I encourage anybody to come down. This track isnt rented very often, I live here and this will be my first chance to drive it. I have heard it is really fun as well.
