I don't think race gas does anything unless you boost higher. It does burn fuel better but not worth 5 bucks a gallon.

I wonder if you can raise your timing and lean out your motor to gain HP. I doubt it.

You can use cipher to advance timing 2 degrees if you put a little 100 oct in.

If you have engine management such as UTEC or EU you can have a seperate map with more advanced timing for higher octane...

It does make a difference, but it won't turn your car into a race car. It burns much smoother and predictably, that's a key thing about it...

although i am not in SoCal(DAllas to be exact) why not go to a local small airport, can get 105 and up octaine. oh and a side note, is a hell of a lot cheaper than 6.50. road and state taxes are different and or non existant on airplanes.
oh and is not airplane fuel, but boosted gas that is safe for cars(that can handle the way higher octains. Although i have never run it in my car(nor would i), i have run it in my modified bike, last purchased 3 gallons at 3.80 a gallon 2 months ago, when 93 octain here in TX was 3.02. figured i would share

Wow, thats really close. How much do they sell it for? Group5 sells it for $10 a gallon in 5 gallon backs which is kind of expensive.
