Default Need someone in Dallas area who drives aggressively...

.. to help evaluate my car's setup. It's an 03 Track with S tunes and hotchkis sways, with recent addition of 19" wheels (9" in front ant 10.5" rear) - tires are BFG KDW2. I'm not sure if its just me, or if aligment settings etc are just not set up right, but the car feels "squirrely" for lack of a better term. I'm looking for someone to drive my car and help me see what may or may not be going on. I did have an incident with the car (up over a curb - don't ask...) which required new front right axle carrier and eventually evo front camber arms to be able to get alignment into spec (unfortunately I don't have the aligment settings, but can probably find out).

I guess I could drive it. I have a bad habit of hitting curbs though. Will that be a problem with the new HRE's you've got? J/k.

Try 5th Gear in Lewisville. They can do an alignment and set the car up. Of come out to the Apex track day this Sunday. Shameless plug!

I guess one caveat is someone who knows how the car should feel, and can help me tweak it (if anything is wrong).

71 Pantera - I have been thinking about heading down there, but likely when I'm on vacation next. You do realize it's Fathers's Day coming up, right?

It may just be the the new tires. I have a similar setup and my car felt squirly to me until I had several hundred miles on the new tires.

I have the exact same setup: Nismo S-tune and Hotchkis. What are your sway bars set up at?

Set at medium both front and rear

I've probably put at least 500 mi on the tires - so not to sure about that theory.

well the tire compound does have to be broken down...you should try changing it to hard/hard since you have larger tires...im running 255x35 and 295x35 and my setting is hard/hard...also what psi are your tires at?

I can check your car out, and I am a driving instructor for many clubs. I'll even take you for a ride in my old 300z, then later see if your car can keep up

Running about 41 all around (unfortunately the TPS doesnt register on the new wheels -not sure if its the sensors I bought or just that they are too far out).

Firehawk - I'll take you up on your offer.

i thought you had to have the tps reset by the dealer when you get different wheels...you should try running your tires around 34-36
