Recommend a Houston dealer please!
I had placed an order with Gilman Nissan in Rosenberg, but they are not waiving a silly Dealers Services fee (even though they said it would be done) and the deal is going sour. This is ridiculous.
Where did you get your Z,for what price, and also who do you recommend as a salesperson?

Eddie at Mossy Nissan is a good guy. They are offering Zs and no hassle msrp prices with no added costs. The only reason I didn't buy the car there is because they didn't have the color I wanted.
try asking articfury im pretty sure thats where he got his car and he knows the gm or something ... maybe he can hep you out.
if you cant work out a deal there, id say go with mossy, they have a huge selection of z's there from what ive heard

In the end, they took all but about $150 off (I agreed to let them have that for the work they did getting the car ready). They argue that the Dealer Services also gives you free oil changes and service. I live up near the Galleria. I told them there's no way I'm driving 65 miles round-trip just for an oil change!
Anyway, I bought a Track model for MSRP on January 25th. I worked with Dean Lundstrom at Gillman. In the end I was satisfied, but no rave reviews for Gillman or Dean.
I've noticed a few areas on the car that the prep crew missed: both kick plates have gummy residue stuck to them, some swirl marks on the rear hatch, passenger-side skirt not fully attached and must be replaced... I'll see how good they are about fixing the side skirt, but so far I'm not too impressed with Ray Qui the service writer or Dave Somebody-or-Other at the Gillam body shop.
Stick to yor guns... that Dealer Service thing is nothing they can't delete!

Pete,
I also had Dean as my salesperson. He added a 200 dollar fee to the final contract out of nowhere and that disappointed me. He claimed that there was a Silverstone Enthusiast coming in this month, but when I drove by the dealer I did not see it there (this was right after I canceled the contract). My conclusion about the whole thing is that he knew I would cancel because he said he couldnt take off the Dealer Services, which is ridiculous because we dont even have the car yet. I am looking for another dealer but no one seems to have any Enthusiast models available.

Very smooth transaction. Got it for MSRP including shipping. They didn't try to add jack to the cost. It will be here Wednesday.
